Born and raised in Victoria to Vietnamese parents, Tony developed a taste for culinary arts at a very young age. He attended Camosun College with completion of all three levels of the culinary arts program, including his Red Seal certification. He gained experience learning from kitchens of pubs, restaurants and catering companies. Currently, Tony is working at the Victoria Golf Club. He rose to the rank of Sous Chef from First Cook in just over three years. Tony plans to relocate to Toronto in 2020 to gain more experience and to continue to grow as a chef. He hopes his passion, hard work, and willingness to constantly learn will continue to make his family proud. Tony believes that food is love and we all have the ability to share that with everyone, so we should always try our best to deliver perfection.
