Award Programs

Soroptimist International of Victoria Westshore has two award programs. The Live Your Dream Awards and the Give Her Wings Award.

The Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards assist women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.

The Give Her Wings Award was created by Soroptimist International of Victoria Westshore to assist young women you have transitioned out of the Foster Care system in British Columbia with furthering their education.

Read about each award below and if you know of any women who could benefit from these cash awards, please feel to share!!

The Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards assist women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.

Each year, more than $1.6 million in education grants are awarded to more than 1,300 women, many of whom have overcome enormous obstacles including poverty, domestic violence and/or drug and alcohol abuse.

Live Your Dream Awards recipients may use the cash award to offset any costs associated with their efforts to attain higher education, such as books, childcare, tuition and transportation. Click here to find out if you qualify.

You Can Win $10,000
